Our Story - Our Mission: Revolutionizing Cryptocurrency
The concept behind Enduracoin started in 2018 as an inspiration of Troy Lowe. It resulted from a survey he administered which asked one question: If you're not in cryptocurrencies today, why not? The unanimous and #1 response to this question was simply the volatility and enormous losses experienced by many already in established cryptocurrencies.
Thus the vision was born to create a cryptocurrency that could endure market volatility, inflation and fiat devaluations. A solution was needed that could offer similar benefits as do established cryptocurrencies and still encompass diverse utility and application uses. The solution should have global reach, unlocking greater economic opportunity for the world and have the potential to bring delight to those who use it as a tool to preserve the value of their hard-earned wealth.
After years of planning and input from advisors, friends, and family, he created ENDC — the first of three Enduracoins to come. The Enduracoin Foundation, LLC was then established in 2023 to bring these ideas to fruition.
Our long term strategy remains the same. We seek to be a global company providing a set of tools in the form of cryptocurrencies and smart contracts that our crypto holders can use to help preserve the value of their hard-earned wealth. For more details please see our Community Proposal.
What Exactly Is Enduracoin?
Enduracoin is an ERC20-compliant token on the Avalanche blockchain with a limited supply of 50 billion ENDC. All tokens are currently held by the Enduracoin Foundation, LLC with most being distributed to users over a 20- to 30-year period.
Low Volatility in Volatile Times
Unlike other assets whose value is dictated by a volatile market, Enduracoin offers a framework to work around this. While not a stable coin — in that it has no collateral backing and is not pegged to a specific group of assets — the value of Enduracoin is conveyed by its smart contract and upheld by a community of users and merchants.
Augmenting Fiat
Enduracoin is not meant to replace fiat currency but rather to augment it. As a low-volatility asset, it provides a unique opportunity for individuals and businesses to diversify their holdings and hedge against inflation and devaluation.
